“Chair-ity” for the Orpheum

I finished my chair for the Orpheum’s auction next week, and Nicki and I delivered it to the theater today.

This chair will be auctioned off next Saturday to benefit the Orpheum Theatre in Memphis at their 33rd Annual Orpheum Auction.

The chair is covered in a white canvas material. I airbrushed it blue and then added the Orpheum marquees on the front…

…and a scene from the musical “MEMPHIS” on the back.

The Broadway musical made it’s international tour debut in Memphis last month.

This is the second chair I’ve painted for the Orpheum, and my 3rd annual auction to be a part of!

I’ll also have my Dracula monsterpiece painting up for grabs in the silent auction this year.

Drac is 4’x4′ tall/wide and airbrushed on canvas. I did it for my “It’s Good To Be Bad: Monster Portraits Of Villainy” art show.
