Nicki and I have been dating for 9 months now…and I still look like I’m pregnant!
Not going to get too mushy here (I’ll wait for our 1 year anniversary for that!), but do want to say to Nicki that I love her and am looking forward to many more anniversaries with her.
“Ookey-mookey!”
In other news…
Last weekend Nicki and I went to Cape Girardeau for the Cape Comicon or Cape-Con as I like to call it. Had a great time at the show. It moved into a much bigger location this year and I hope they will be there again next year. It was easy to find and very close to the hotel and many restaurants and retail stores. Ken, Doug, and the rest of the Cape-Con folks couldn’t have been nicer. We saw a lot of familiar faces from last year and from Metropolis, and were set up next to the 501st and our Jetta friens- Antone, Kevin, and Jason. Found some great deals on back issues, toys, and more. Hope to make it back next year. Looks like the dates will be April 24 & 25, 2010.
Oh, don’t forget- my favorite holiday is almost here! Some of the MSCA and I will be at Comic Cellar on Austin Peay (near Yale and Raleigh Springs Mall) for Free Comic Book Day this Saturday- May 2nd, from noon-2pm. Stop on by and say hi, and get some free comics!
Hope to see you there!
